Hi, I’m Alison Holloran, but most people call me Ali.
I am a comprehensively certified, classically trained Pilates instructor, having completed my training and certifications through Peak Pilates. For more than 19 years, I have been practicing and teaching Pilates, and I continue to find joy in helping others discover the strength, confidence, and well-being that Pilates can bring.
I've always enjoyed being active, but after having my two beautiful daughters, my body felt different. I experienced aches and pains I had never dealt with before, and one day, shortly after my second daughter was born, I threw my back out while vacuuming. That was my wake-up call (not before questioning…do I really need to vacuum?). I knew I needed to make a change, and that's when I discovered Pilates.
What began as a personal journey to feel stronger and healthier quickly became a passion. After experiencing the incredible benefits for myself, I wanted to share them with others, so I embarked on the certification process—a journey that took several years and deepened my love for the Pilates method.
Like everyone, I've faced challenges along the way, with breast cancer being one of the most significant. Through every setback, Pilates has helped guide me back to strength, health, and happiness. It has been a constant source of resilience, both physically and mentally.
Today, I am passionate not only about teaching Pilates but also about creating meaningful connections with the wonderful people I have the privilege of working with. My goal at High Plains Pilates is to foster a welcoming, supportive community where everybody feels comfortable, encouraged, and empowered to reach their goals—wherever they may be on their journey.
Hi, I’m Sage!
As a certified Pilates mat instructor, I believe movement is about so much more than just physical benefits. Pilates has become one of my favorite ways to challenge myself, build strength, and take time to reconnect with my body and I love bringing that same feeling into every class I teach.
My goal as an instructor is to create a space where you feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to move. In class, I emphasize intentional movement, proper form, and strength-building while encouraging you to listen to your body and meet yourself where you are. There is no pressure to be perfect—my hope is that you leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of what your body can do. Whether you’re new to Pilates or have been practicing for years, I want you to feel like you belong.
When I’m not teaching Pilates, I’m a social worker and love spending time with my friends, being active, and finding little ways to make everyday life more fun. I’m so excited to be part of your Pilates journey and can’t wait to see you in class!
Hi, I’m Fred.
I take my role at High Plains Pilates very seriously. Not the Pilates part, of course. My real job is greeting every visitor, boosting morale, and providing emotional support in exchange for attention.
Outside of work, I enjoy extensive neighborhood sniff-vestigations, championship-level sleeping, spending time with my best friends Stan and Moose, and receiving an appropriate amount of pets (which, according to my calculations, is never quite enough).
